Nevada-based SendCutSend, on-demand digital manufacturing company, plans to invest $63.2 million to open its first Pennsylvania facility in Pittston.
The company will lease and remodel approximately 200,000-square-feet of manufacturing space.
SendCutSend specializes in computer numerical control (CNC) machining, bending, laser-cut metal, wood products, and secondary finishing services. The Pittston location will provide CNC machining and laser cutting operations.
“Our customers need parts fast, so we move fast, and Pennsylvania gets that. Pittston brings one-day shipping to more of our Northeast customers,” Jim Belosic, SendCutSend founder and CEO, said. “We’re hiring and machines are landing. Big thanks to Governor Shapiro, Secretary Siger and their teams for making this process seamless.”
The Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED) submitted a proposal for a $3 million Pennsylvania First grant and encouraged SendCutSend to apply for the Manufacturing Tax Credit and the Qualified Manufacturing Innovation and Reinvestment Deduction programs.
“This investment by SendCutSend is a major win for Luzerne County and for workers across northeastern Pennsylvania,” DCED Secretary Rick Siger said. “We’re laser focused on attracting businesses, supporting innovation, and investing in our workforce to ensure our Commonwealth remains competitive and our workers and communities can thrive.”
The project is expected to create 309 jobs over the next three years.
