PPG appoints senior executives to global business segments

Pittsburgh-based PPG, a paints, coatings and specialty products company, recently appointed senior executives to three global reportable business segments, effective Sept. 1.

PPG markets and sells in more than 50 countries, and the segments were created last year. The senior executives will be tasked with accelerating growth and productivity.

“As we continue to transform PPG, this focused segment structure will unlock new opportunities to accelerate our growth and productivity,” Tim Knavish, PPG chairman and CEO, said. “These executive leaders and their teams will be charged with optimizing their respective segments to maximize performance for our customers, employees and shareholders.”

Industrial Coatings segment Senior Vice President of Global Automotive Coatings and Packaging Coatings Alisha Bellezza will become senior vice president. She will continue to lead the global automotive coatings business and will oversee the industrial coatings, packaging coatings and specialty products businesses.

Performance Coatings segment Senior Vice President of Global Automotive Refinish Coatings and Aerospace Chancey Hagerty will become senior vice president. He will continue to lead the global automotive refinish coatings business and now will be tasked with oversight of the aerospace, protective and marine coatings and traffic solutions businesses.

Global Architectural Coatings segment Senior Vice President Henrik Bergström will become senior vice president.
