84 Lumber names chief financial officer

Eighty Four-based 84 Lumber, the largest privately-held building materials supplier in the United States, recently named Dustin Hauenstein as chief financial officer.

Hauenstein has more than 25 years of finance and accounting experience in the retail and financial services industries and has overseen financial planning and analysis, investor relations, procurement and enterprise strategy.

Hauenstein comes to 84 Lumber from Designer Brands where he served as senior vice president. In this role, he held the responsibilities of DSW and the Brand Portfolio chief financial officer and head of corporate finance. He also held multiple executive leadership roles at JPMorgan Chase & Co.

In his new role, Hauenstein will oversee the company’s financial operations and support its long-term strategic planning, operational excellence and financial performance.

84 Lumber operates 320 facilities in 34 states and employs more than 7,500 people.
