Canonsburg, Pa.-based Vision RNG announced Friday it was adding two new members to the company leadership team: Kirk Vroman as general counsel and Brian Martz as chief operating officer.

Bill Johnson, CEO of Vision RNG, said the new team brings experience and expertise to the company as it works to expand the business. Founded in 2021, Vision RNG is a full-service developer of landfill gas to sustainable renewable natural gas and electric generation projects.

“Adding proven leaders like Kirk and Brian to our team continues our focus of building a best-in-class team of proven professionals as we expand our business,” Johnson said. “We’re thrilled to welcome them to the team.”

Martz, formerly with Republic Services where he handled business development of the company’s renewable energy platform, has over 25 years of experience in environmental, engineering, construction, and renewable energy markets. While he was with Republic Services, Johnson said, Martz tripled the company’s renewable energy EBITDA, established an industry-leading $1 billion joint venture and put the company on track to accomplish a long-range primary ESG goal.

Johnson said Vroman has more than a decade of legal experience with the energy industry and has held various legal roles for upstream oil and gas producers in the Appalachia, Permian, Ft. Worth, Anadarko, DJ, Black Warrior, Powder River and Williston basins. Most recently, Vroman served as the senior corporate counsel for Internap Holding LLC, a cloud and bare metal technology infrastructure company.
