Penn State New Kensington campus’ innovation hub, The Corner, will be hosting a free, 10-week, business course beginning in February.
Participants will meet for nine two-hour sessions and will work independently on business ideas. During the course, participants will receive individual coaching and have access to The Corner. They also will have legal support through Penn State’s Entrepreneurial and Intellectual Property Law Clinics.
Participants also will receive up to $3,000 for customer discovery for qualified teams, and the LaunchBox Startup Support Package for qualifying businesses and other potential micro-grant opportunities.
Coaches and mentors will work with individuals and teams throughout the program.
The course will be held weekly Feb. 4 through April 7 at The Corner as part of the Corner Launchbox Opportunity Accelerator. Interested participants must apply.
