The board of directors of Curtiss-Wright Corp. have elected Kevin Rayment to serve as president and CEO, effective Jan. 1. He also will become a member of the board.
Rayment has 35 years of experience in the aerospace and defense, commercial nuclear and industrial markets. He joined Curtiss-Wright in 2004 and most recently served as executive vice president and chief operating officer. He previously served as president of the former commercial/industrial segment.

We are confident Kevin will drive continued success for Curtiss-Wright.”
Rayment will succeed Lynn Bamford who will transition to the role of executive chairwoman after six years as CEO. She played a pivotal role in reshaping the organization into a stronger, high-growth company.
Curtiss-Wright’s electro-mechanical systems division headquarters is located in Cheswick. The company also operates its engineered pump division in Bethlehem, its engineered arresting systems in Aston and one of its valves divisions in Hatfield. The company announced in July that it is investing $80 million to expand operations at its Cheswick facility.
