Mid Penn Bancorp appoints new board of directors member

Harrisburg-based Mid Penn Bancorp, the parent company of Mid Penn Bank, recently appointed Gregory Braca to its board of directors, effective Sept. 16.

“We are pleased to welcome Greg to our board of directors,” Rory Ritrievi, Mid Penn chairman, president and CEO, stated, “His extensive leadership experience across all areas of banking, along with his deep understanding of financial services strategy, operations, governance, and risk management, will be invaluable as Mid Penn continues to grow and strengthen the value we deliver to our shareholders, customers, employees, and communities.”

Braca has more than 40 years of experience leading financial institutions throughout North America. He most recently was TD Bank president and CEO. In this role, he led the strategic direction and operational oversight of the U.S. retail, commercial, and specialty banking businesses. He also served as TD Bank chief operating officer and head of corporate and specialty banking.

Braca has served on several boards of directors of companies and industry groups. Currently, he serves on the boards of Intellicheck, a publicly-traded I.D. management company, and Ironlight, a tokenized exchange ATS for real world assets, where he serves as chairman. In addition, Braca
is a senior adviser to Star Mountain Capital and Myota.
