State College-based Phospholutions, a fertilizer technology company, recently announced a series of leadership changes.
“Phospholutions is strengthening its management team to support our next phase of scale and help the fertilizer ecosystem operate more efficiently, from manufacturer through to the farmer,” Hunter Swisher, Phospholutions CEO, said. “We’re building Phospholutions to help create a global agricultural system where every pound of phosphorus is used wisely, supply chains are resilient, and farmers can rely on predictable, cost-effective nutrient performance.”
Phosphorus, an ingredient in fertilizer, is experiencing rising price volatility and an increasingly constrained supply chain.
Justin Archibee was appointed chief financial officer. He will oversee financial planning, capital allocation, and long-term strategy as the company expands adoption of its phosphorus-efficiency technology. Archibee previously held finance leadership roles at The Mosaic Company, Walt Disney World, and Publix Super Markets.
Michael Castiglione was promoted to chief operating officer. He has pivotal in the company’s manufacturing partnerships, distribution strategy, and raw material procurement.
Steve Levitsky was promoted to chief administrative and sustainability officer. He will oversee internal operations, risk management, and sustainability initiatives.
Weston Heide, a The Andersons agribusiness executive, was added to the Phospholutions board of directors. He has nearly 20 years of grain, nutrient distribution, and agricultural supply chains experience.
