Pittsburgh-based PPG recently appointed Pascal Tisseyre vice president of government affairs for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), effective immediately.

In this role, Tisseyre will lead the company’s regional government affairs activities. This includes oversight of public policy, political engagement and related compliance activities.

“This critical appointment underscores PPG’s commitment to actively engaging with government stakeholders in the region and advocating for the future of the coatings industry, particularly with respect to critical initiatives such as the EU Green Deal and opportunities to promote sustainable growth as part of PPG’s Enterprise Growth Strategy,” Pedro Serret Salvat, PPG EMEA president and general counsel, said. “Pascal’s extensive and deep business expertise and leadership, combined with his strategic vision, will be instrumental in advancing PPG’s objectives.”

Tisseyre joined PPG in 2008 after it acquired SigmaKalon. He served as finance director of PPG AC EMEA and led PPG’s architectural coatings, EMEA South business. Most recently, he served as vice president of architectural coatings for the EMEA South business where he was in charge of the region’s go-to-market strategy, and implementing new digital technology.

Prior to PPG and SigmaKalon, Tisseyre held finance and controllership roles at Sigma Coatings, Total in Ghana and other companies.

PPG operates in more than 70 countries.
