Triumph Group’s Thailand business TRIUMPH Product Support in Asia (TASA) recently extended its contract with Airbus to continue repair station services for Airbus Proprietary Parts.

TASA has provided fully authorized original equipment manufacturer repairs for a wide range of Airbus aircraft operators in the Asian Pacific and China (APAC) regions since 2015.

TASA’s maintenance, repair, and overhaul services include rudders, elevators, and sharklets. Under the renewal of terms, Airbus and TASA engineering teams will collaborate in developing and substantiating existing and new repairs.

The renewal also opens the possibility of additional proprietary part repairs for aircraft such as the A350, the A320 family, the A330/340, and the A380.

“Our industry is rising again after the challenges of the pandemic, and this contract will play a key role in the resurgence of aviation within the APAC Region,” Monty Richardson, TASA president, said. “We’re honored by the confidence that our trusted partners at Airbus and Satair have demonstrated in TRIUMPH, and we are excited to continue leveraging our strategic placement within Asia and unique range of high-quality repair and service solutions in support of our partners and customers.”

TASA is the first Thailand-based Maintenance, Repair, and Operations station to receive European Union Aviation Safety Agency Design Organisation Approvals Part 21J.
