Intervala purchases Ohio electronics company

Intervala, a manufacturer of high-reliability, precision electronic, and electromechanical products, recently purchased certain assets of NEOTech’s manufacturing business in Mason, Ohio.

NEOTech produces low-to-medium volume, higher mix electronics. The Mason facility no longer fit NEOTech’s larger business strategy, NEOTech President Kunal Sharma said.

The purchase allows Intervala to expands its global customer base by adding several top-tier customers in the medical device and industrial markets.

“The acquisition of NEOTech’s Mason business presented Intervala with a unique opportunity to further advance our growth strategy and expand our customer base in key target markets,” Intervala President and CEO Teresa Huber said. “We commend the NEOTech team for building successful, longstanding relationships with a notable customer list and are extremely pleased to welcome these customers to Intervala.”

Intervala plans to gradually transition the Mason business to its existing manufacturing locations in the greater Pittsburgh and Boston regions.

Intervala has manufacturing operations in the Greater Pittsburgh and Greater Boston areas. They manufacture cable and harness assemblies, electromechanical systems, and complex, high-performance printed circuit board assemblies for customers in the defense industrial, medical, and transportation markets.

The company also offers supply chain management, global fulfillment services, a full suite of engineering expertise, and new product introduction.
