Enola-based PAM Health, a company offering specialized healthcare services across a 17-state network, recently announced plans to build four freestanding, 42-bed physical medicine and rehabilitation hospitals in four states.
The hospitals will be located in Colorado, Indiana, Wisconsin and Wyoming. They will each employ approximately 200 people and will serve patients recovering from debilitating illnesses and injuries. This includes amputations, strokes and other neurological disorders, traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries, and orthopedic and post-surgical conditions.
“As a healthcare provider, PAM Health is always seeking opportunities to improve the health and well-being of the community,” said Anthony Misitano, PAM Health founder, chairman, and CEO. “We look forward to offering residents of these areas a fresh, top-tier option for rehabilitation services.”
PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Casper will be the company’s hospital in Wyoming. PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Bloomington and PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Green Bay will be the company’s second hospitals in Indiana and Wisconsin. PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Loveland will be the company’s fourth hospital in Colorado.
PAM Health’s network includes more than 100 long-term acute care hospitals and physical medicine and rehabilitation hospitals, outpatient physical therapy sites, behavioral health hospitals, and wound clinics.
Its hospitals are known nationally for their workers’ compensations programs.
