Polytek Development Corp., a manufacturer of specialty polymers for mold making, casting, and coating applications, announced Wednesday the acquisition of Endurance Technologies, a company that specializes in the formulation and manufacturing of polyurethane and epoxy systems.
Endurance Technologies is based in St. Paul, Minn. The company’s industrial brand, Custom Polymer Designs, is prominently used in marine, aerospace, construction, and recreational composites while their consumer brand, including MAS Epoxies, provide popular do-it-yourself and craft products.
With the addition, Polytek, a portfolio company of Arsenal Capital Partners based in Easton, Pa., will further expand its manufacturing locations and capabilities, elevating their technical proficiency, the company said in a statement.
“Endurance Technologies has a proven track record of success and market growth built on superior product quality, custom solutions, and hands-on technical support,” Polytek CEO Doug Lorenz said. “The companies share similar objectives and values and together we’re really looking forward to showing our customers the benefit of this collaboration.”
The two companies will continue to do business under their existing names. Customer benefits of the collaboration will include a broader product portfolio, increased technical support and customer service, and product accessibility.
“Polytek is a great fit for the next chapter of our business,” David Hoeffel, owner of Endurance Technologies said. “Our team is excited to join forces and work on initiatives that will expand product options and support services for our customers.”
