Pennsylvania company Hershey announced it is expanding its partnership with Publicis by transitioning its international media responsibilities to the agency
Effective Jan. 1, 2027, the company will move those responsibilities, Hershey said. The decision comes after Hershey made an evaluation of its global media ecosystem, officials said. The decision will build on the success of the existing relationship, and support the company’s continued focus on strengthening marketing capabilities for long-term growth across international markets.
“Consumers are engaging with brands across more channels, platforms, and touchpoints than ever before,” Vijiti Dixit, Vice President, International Marketing at The Hershey Company, said. “As we continue to strengthen our enterprise marketing capabilities, Publicis brings the scale, expertise, technology, talent, and unified operating model to help us build a more connected, data-driven media ecosystem. We believe this partnership will help us better understand, reach, and serve consumers while supporting our long-term global growth ambitions.”
Officials said Publicis distinguished itself through its global scale, strong insights and planning, advanced data and AI-enabled capabilities, and a globally connected model. Those skills are expected to help enhance media effectiveness while preserving the local expertise in delivering relevant consumer experiences across the globe. The company already partners with Hershey for the U.S. market. The expansion of the companies’ relationship shows a continued focus on simplifying ways of working and enhancing media effectiveness through stronger capabilities, officials said.
