Steel pipe manufacturer Dura-Bond inked a multi-year contract with TC Energy that will generate $300 million in new revenue and create some 250 new jobs in the state.
U.S. Sen. Dave McCormick (R-PA) was on hand at Dura-Bond Pipe’s Steelton facility last week to announce the partnership.
“From day one, my team and I have been proud to stand with Dura-Bond as they’ve grown stronger and created opportunity for Pennsylvania workers,” McCormick said. “This $300 million contract with TC Energy will create 250 new union jobs and strengthen the Marcellus Shale region’s role in powering American manufacturing. What we are seeing here in Steelton is the intersection of President Trump’s strategy of energy dominance, his commitment to American steel, and the return of advanced manufacturing right here in Pennsylvania.”
Dura-Bond is a steel pipe manufacturer that serves the Marcellus Shale region. The company has a history of supplying large-diameter line pipe for natural gas and critical infrastructure projects across the country.

To meet increased demand under the new contract, Dura-Bond will add an additional shift at its Steelton facility, expanding its workforce and strengthening the region’s manufacturing base.

Dura-Bond is the only American-owned manufacturer of large-diameter line pipe used for oil and natural gas transmission.
