DICK’S Sporting Goods appoints president of Foot Locker

Pittsburgh-based DICK’S Sporting Goods recently announced Matthew Barnes has been appointed Foot Locker International president, effective Dec. 3.

Barnes has more than 30 years of global retail leadership experience and has a track record of guiding consumer-facing companies through periods of growth and transformation. In his new role, Barnes will lead the Foot Locker business’ international operations, overseeing Foot Locker stores, eCommerce and digital businesses in Europe, Asia and Australia and its licensed store presence in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
