The Pennsylvania Department of Community & Economic Development recently announced that BusinessPA will be hosting the Bringing the World to PA tour. The tour will visit Philadelphia, Malvern, Hershey, Altoona, Pittsburgh, Erie, Kersey, Bellefonte, Dupont, and Bethlehem from Sept. 8-19.

Pennsylvania businesses will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with Pennsylvania’s Authorized Trade Representatives to explore market opportunities and discuss their company’s international business objectives.

Pennsylvania’s authorized trade representatives will provide a wide variety of business consulting services for free including trade shows and trade missions; tariffs, duty rates and regulatory information; market intelligence; foreign company background checks; in-country support, including arranging business appointments and logistics; and the identification of potential business partners that are prescreened and qualified based on the business owner’s criteria.

Representatives will be from Australia (New Zealand), Canada, China, Czech Republic (Central and Eastern Europe), Germany (Italy, Switzerland, Austria), India, Israel (Middle East region), Mexico, Netherlands (Belgium), Singapore (Southeast Asia), South Korea, Taiwan and United Kingdom (Ireland, Scandinavia).

Interested participates should contact their Regional Export Network (REN) partner to register. REN partners will then work with participants to schedule meetings with authorized trade representatives. The network is staffed by professional business development consultants.
