York-based Colony Packaging & Machine, a packaging and packaging equipment industrial wholesale distributor, recently announced it expanded its honeycell corrugated packaging capabilities in Central Pennsylvania and Northern Maryland.

Honeycell packaging consists of two liner boards and honeycomb shaped fluting of various heights. It often is used for trailer padding to stabilize shipments and to cradle large rolls of material. It is used instead of air pillows, bubble wrap, EPS foam or general kraft void fill.

“The current marketplace for sustainable solutions that are curbside recyclable continues to grow exponentially,” Dan Callahan, Colony Packaging & Machine sales manager, said. “We provide solutions matching industry innovations to our customers’ goals and aim to exceed their expectations in delivering valuable, price-conscious resources to meet those demands in industrial packaging and packaging equipment. It is an exciting time in company history as we expand our product offerings throughout the Central PA and Northern Maryland geographies.”

In addition, Colony Packaging & Machine is partnering with Cascades, a company offering sustainable packaging, hygiene and recovery solutions, to launch services targeting less-than-truckload applications for honeycell corrugated blocking, bracing, cradling, die-cut, void fill and cushioning solutions tailored to various industries.

Colony Packaging & Machine connects various local packaging manufacturing companies to its customer base.
