Newtown-based EPAM Systems, a digital transformation services and product engineering company, and Amazon Web Services (AWS) recently expanded their 2023 strategic collaboration agreement to focus on developing generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) solutions that help companies more easily migrate workloads to AWS.

Under the agreement, the companies will work to allow customers to develop specialized AI agents and GenAI solutions to solve engineering and industry-specific issues. The effort will allow companies to scale and operationalize applications from proof-of-concepts to working AI-enabled solutions, and become more cloud-native.

“Our work with EPAM is key to helping global enterprises integrate and realize the value of AI agents and generative AI to transform their businesses,” Chris Sullivan, AWS Partner Management, Americas vice president said.

EPAM will benefit from the ability to continue developing and refining AI-powered modernization.

“We are grateful for the recognition from AWS of our GenAI competencies and skills,” Elaina Shekhter, EPAM senior vice president, chief marketing and strategy officer, said. “Moreover, we are thrilled to further expand our work with AWS, helping to accelerate the adoption of specialized AI agents and GenAI solutions on AWS to solve engineering and industry-specific issues.”

EPAM Systems provides digital engineering, cloud and AI-enabled transformation services as well as consulting services.
