
Cranberry Township-based PLS Logistics Services (PLS), a third-party logistics and freight brokerage service provider, recently announced to has appointed Steven Bergan as its next president.
“I am thrilled to join PLS Logistics Services and help lead the company into its next chapter of success,” Bergan said. “The logistics landscape is rapidly changing, and I look forward to collaborating with the team to strengthen PLS’s position as an industry growth leader.”
As PLS president, Bergan will oversee all operational and strategic initiatives, further expand the PLS client base, foster a culture of continuous improvement, enhance the company’s service offerings, and will work closely with the executive team to further the company’s mission of delivering logistics solutions that meet the evolving needs of customers in various industries.
Bergan previously was chief operating officer of California-based General Logistics System USA, a shipping company, and vice president of operations. He worked for the company for eight years and helped enhance profitability and improve efficiencies.
