Ohio company purchases CompuData

Ohio-based CBIZ, a financial, insurance and advisory services provider, recently purchased Philadelphia-based CompuData, a technology solutions provider for small and midsize organizations.

The deal closed on March 1.

CBIZ has more than 120 offices in 33 states. Financial services include accounting, government health care consulting, risk advisory, tax, transaction advisory, and valuation services. Insurance services include employee benefits consulting, human capital consulting, payroll, property and casualty insurance, and retirement plan consulting.

CompuData has 60 employees and approximately $20 million in annual revenue. It provides accounting ERP software, cloud computing, managed IT and security.
