The City of Grand Prairie recently awarded Radnor, Pa.-based Triumph Group’s Product Support business in Grand Prairie, Texas, with multiple environmental awards.

The Grand Prairie location repairs and provides overhaul support for most aircraft accessories including actuation, constant speed drives, engine controls, environmental systems, fuel accessories, heat transfer, gearboxes, hydraulics, integrated drive generators, and pneumatics.

The city awarded the business with the 2022-2023 Pretreatment 100% Compliance Award, acknowledging compliance with the city’s wastewater pretreatment and environmental requirements. The business has received the award for the last five years and also was recognized for this achievement.

The city also recognized the business for its participation in the annual North Texas Clean Air Challenge. The business ran an education campaign that included company-wide communications on how employees can take action to reduce air pollution.

“These awards are just one example of the dedication we have to improving our overall environmental standards in the Dallas-Fort Worth area,” Jim Berberet, president of Triumph Product Support, said. “These efforts extend beyond the local community, contributing to Triumph’s larger commitment to environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG). In particular, the pretreatment compliance and Clean Air Action Pledge align with our corporate goals related to ESG risk management and the reduction of wastewater effluent and air emissions.”
