New York-based CHA Consulting, a full-service engineering, design, consulting, and program/construction management firm, recently purchased Philadelphia area-based Predictive Maintenance Solutions (PdMS), a predictive maintenance programs and vibration analysis company.

PdMS has been rebranded PdMS, A CHA Company.

“PdMS brings an impressive 35-year track record of providing highly specialized reliability and predictive maintenance programs and technology,” Jim Stephenson, CHA Holdings CEO, said. “The PdMS team has a deep knowledge in minimizing risk and maximizing ROI for clients by maintaining their most important assets. With increasing investment and demand for domestic manufacturing, and continued pressure on utilities to build resiliency into grid operations, these are services our clients demand, which allows us to build on the work we are already doing for them.”

CHA Consulting provides consulting, design, engineering, and program/construction management to public, private, and institutional clients. It is focused on challenging infrastructure projects in the transportation, water, utilities, and other commercial and industrial end-markets.

The purchase brings the company’s total employees to more than 1,750 in 50 offices throughout the United States and Canada.

PdMS provides acceptance testing, advanced analysis, balancing and alignment, laser shaft alignment, predictive maintenance program audits, program customization and setup, robust reliability maintenance, training, utility engineering, and vibration analysis.
