Delaware-based The Precisionists, a company helping individuals with disabilities find jobs, recently opened an Innovation & Technology Center (ITC) in Philadelphia.

The company assesses, trains and employs adults with autism and other neurodiversities to carry out project-based work such as back-office accounting, cybersecurity, database analytics, data entry and auditing reports, software development, and software testing.

Previously, tasks were performed at the company’s Wilmington, Del., location or at client locations throughout the Philadelphia area.

The new facility will support additional Philadelphia companies. It is estimated the location will create more than 500 jobs over the next three to five years.

“I am happy to chair Select Greater Philadelphia, the arm of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce responsible for marketing the region in order to enhance job creation and job retention,” Bill Sasso said. “There is no better partner to select than The Precisionists, an organization whose mission is to create jobs for those individuals who need help the most.”

The location is convenient to public transportation.

The company has partnered with several organizations in the Greater Philadelphia Region since 2018 including CAG Truck Capital, Drexel University, DuPont, Independence Blue Cross, PECO, and Vertex to provide information technology and business support services using a neurodiverse work force.
