AmerisourceBergen releases 2022 ESG report

AmerisourceBergen, a global pharmaceutical company, recently released its 2022 Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Summary Report detailing the company’s ESG performance and its commitment to creating a positive impact.

The company’s ESG strategy revolves around three key priorities: purpose-driven team members, resilient and sustainable operations, and healthy communities.

As part of the company’s Getting Drastic with Plastic campaign, Alliance Healthcare in the UK reduced single-use plastic secondary packaging by 60 percent over three years.

The company’s Marketplace platform connected verified manufacturers with independent pharmacy customers to help them secure inventory. More than 30 percent of the manufacturers are diverse.
