Triumph Group business awarded two Airbus contracts

Airbus recently awarded TRIUMPH Actuation Products & Services, a Triumph Group business, two multi-year contracts to manufacture ball-bearing control cables for the Airbus A330, A320, and A350 aircraft fleets.

“Triumph is a market leader of high precision low friction ball bearing cables, and these contract extensions continue to demonstrate the aerospace market’s need for high-performing products from TRIUMPH,” Mike Boland, TRIUMPH Actuation Products & Services president, said. “We appreciate the confidence Airbus has in TRIUMPH to deliver the highest quality products.”

TRIUMPH currently performs this work in Villeneuve Le Roi, France.

TRIUMPH Actuation Products & Services designs, develops, manufactures, and supports complex electro-hydraulic and mechanical systems and equipment for the aerospace and defense industry. It serves customers around the world from 10 manufacturing sites in North America and Europe.

Products include actuators, control valves, motors, pumps, reservoirs, and a wide range of mechanical controls for commercial and military aircraft.

Berwyn-based TRIUMPH designs, engineers, manufactures, repairs, and overhauls a broad portfolio of aerospace and defense systems and components. It services commercial aircraft operators, the military, and original equipment manufacturers worldwide.
