TekniPlex splits into two business divisions

Wayne-based TekniPlex, a company providing solutions through materials science and manufacturing technologies, recently reorganized its business into two divisions: TekniPlex Healthcare and TekniPlex Consumer Products.

The move is intended to streamline the company’s corporate identity by uniting all business units under two divisions and maximizing name recognition.

The company will transition to a more uniform marketing presence gradually. Prior to reorganization, each business unit was marketed under its own brand name.

“By consolidating all brands under the TekniPlex name, we will be able to better service our customers by providing them greater visibility into the full breadth of our capabilities and offerings,” Brenda Chamulak, TekniPlex president and CEO, said. “We will also be able to more thoroughly leverage the synergies between our businesses, and solidify our position as a leading materials science solutions partner to many of the world’s largest brands.”

The TekniPlex Healthcare division includes the Beyers Plastics, Colorite, Dunn, JPG, Lameplast, LF of America Natvar, TekniPlex Europe, TekniFilms, TekniPlex Flexibles, and TekniPlex Gallazzi business units.

The TekniPlex Consumer Products division includes the Action Technology, Dolco, Fibro, Geraldiscos, Grupo Phoenix, Keyes, M-Industries, MMC Packaging Equipment, and TriSeal business units.

Over the last five years, TekniPlex has made 15 acquisitions, doubling the company’s size.
