Pittsburgh-based Evoqua Water Technologies, a water and wastewater treatment solutions company, recently released its goals to reduce its operational footprint.
The goals are part of the company’s commitment to operate sustainably and mitigate its environmental impacts.

Today’s announcement is an important step to delivering growth responsibly and sustainably.”
The company set two major goals: Reusing more water than it withdraws by 2035 and reach net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.
To achieve these coals Evoqua will institute water management plans for its facilities to increase efficiency in its water usage and to implement additional water recycling and reuse initiatives. It also will develop greenhouse gas emission reduction targets in line with the Paris Agreement.
Evoqua operates in more than 160 locations across 10 countries, serving more than 38,000 customers and 200,000 installations worldwide.
