Boeing extends Triumph Group’s contract

Boeing Commercial Airplanes extended three contracts in April with Triumph Group, a Berwyn-based company serving the global aviation industry.

“We are proud to continue our longstanding relationship with Boeing and support their various commercial programs as rates rebound following the pandemic,” Scott Ledbetter, Triumph Actuation Products & Services operating company president, said.

One multiyear contract is for hydraulic actuation components used in complex landing gear valves and thrust reverser cowl doors for the single-aisle platforms. Triumph will produce these components in its facility in Clemmons, N.C.

The second multiyear contract is for hydraulic accumulators, manifolds, and steering and locking actuators for multiple legacy platforms. Triumph will manufacture components at its Valencia, Calif., facility. The site has maintained a Silver Delivery Rating from Boeing.

The final multiyear contract is for Boeing 787 Dreamliner landing gear components such as control valves, transducers, and hydraulic locking actuators. Triumph has supplied these systems and components since the 787 program began. The company also provides repair and overhaul maintenance for other supplier partners and operators.

Triumph provides clients with hydraulic and fueling systems, geared solutions, actuation, maintenance, repair, and overhaul offerings. It designs, engineers, manufactures, repairs, and overhauls a broad portfolio of aerospace and defense systems, components, and structures.
