ALTEK, a U.K.-based Harsco Corp. subsidiary, is now offering complete end-to-end dross processing and environmental solutions to the global aluminum industry.
ALTEK manufactures products that enable aluminum producers and recyclers to improve operating productivity, reduce waste generation, and manage and extract value from critical waste streams. The technology recovers more than 45 percent aluminum, depending on existing recovery techniques than previous technologies, the company said.

Harsco acquired ALTEK in 2018 to expand Harsco Environmental’s metal recovery by-product re-use capabilities into the aluminum industry.
ALTEK’s equipment is being used in more than 600 locations worldwide. It works with customers to reduce waste generation, manage and extract value from waste streams, and supply knowledge and technology to improve operating efficiencies and productivity.
