King of Prussia-based PetroChoice, one of the country’s largest petroleum-based lubricant distributors, recently completed the acquisition of Oklahoma City-based Commercial Distributing (CDi).
CDi specializes in the automotive market and distributes lubricants in Oklahoma, Texas, and Arkansas.
PetroChoice serves customers in the passenger automotive market, so the addition of Cdi’s locations will help the company anticipate and meet our customers’ needs, Celeste Mastin, PetroChoice CEO, said.
“I am pleased that PetroChoice is as dedicated to fostering the growth of my business for my employees and customers as I was,” Michael Barcum, CDi president, said. “I identified technology in distribution methods as being important in my vision for our regional distribution effort and the future of this industry, and PetroChoice is at the forefront of these endeavors.”
Barcum has joined the PetroChoice CEO Strategy Council. The council serves as an advisory board to provide Mastin and the leadership team with ideas, support, and a network of contacts.
The council is comprised of leaders from former PetroChoice acquisitions. Other members include Mike Foltz from LubriCorp, Steve King from Anderson Lubricants, Rick Palmore from Universal Lubricants, and Ross Smith from Miller Industrial Fluids.
CDi has already begun operating as PetroChoice.
PetroChoice has locations across the United States and serves industrial and commercial customers.
