Herbert, Rowland & Grubic, Inc. (HRG), a civil engineering firm with offices in Pennsylvania and West Virginia, recently announced that it is opening a new office in King of Prussia, Penn.
“HRG has been serving clients in Southeastern Pennsylvania for many years,” Jason Fralick, president of HRG, said. “This location in King of Prussia will bring us closer to our clients there, and we’re looking forward to growing our team with the talented professionals that call southeastern Pennsylvania their home.”
Edward A. Ellinger, P.E. will serve as the acting assistant vice president (AVP) for the new office in addition to his role as AVP in HRG’s Harrisburg office.
Cory J. Salmon, E.I.T. is being promoted to water and wastewater team leader and will be the first employee to work full-time in the office.
“I am excited to help HRG expand its presence in this area that I love so much,” Salmon said.
HRG is ranked as one of the Top 500 Design Firms by Engineering News-Record. its projects have been honored by the American Council of Engineering Companies, Pennsylvania Highway Information Association, Pennsylvania Department of Community & Economic Development, Pennsylvania Water Environment Association and others.
The firm currently serves as the consulting engineer for West Goshen Township, the West Goshen Sewer Authority, Northwestern Chester County Municipal Authority, Kutztown Borough, and Pottstown Borough Authority. It also recently designed a pedestrian tunnel for the Delaware Canal Towpath under Conrail tracks in the Delaware Canal State Park.
HRG was founded in Harrisburg in 1962 and now employs more than 200 people in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia. In addition to the King of Prussia office, the company has six other offices across Pennsylvania and one in West Virginia.
