Century Engineering, Inc. recently acquired Interstate Acquisition Services (IAS), a right-of-way consultant based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
IAS has been in operation for more than 20 years and has provided appraisal, title, acquisition, and relocation services for a variety of federal, state, commercial and pipeline projects.
Century Engineering is a full-service professional engineering firm that provides engineering, surveying, and construction inspection services to government agencies and various industries throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. The company is headquartered in Hunt Valley, Maryland and has offices in Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Virginia.
“This acquisition adds depth to Century’s transportation division in Pennsylvania and strengthens our existing relationships with PennDOT and the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission and adds great new clients, such as the Port Authority of Alleghany County,” Century Engineering CEO Francis Smyth said.
