S & B expands engineering operations in Canonsburg

S & B Engineers and Constructors recently moved its Northeast Operations to a larger office space in Canonsburg, Pa.

The new, 10,000-square-feet location is maintained by Kossman Development Co. and will house more than 60 office staff.

The Northeast Operations office offers full-service, multidiscipline engineering, procurement, and construction management services. It focuses on the midstream, refining, and chemical/petrochemical industries in the Marcellus-Utica region.

“Since establishing our presence in Pennsylvania less than one year ago, we have experienced tremendous success which has exceeded all of our expectations,” John Martin, S & B senior vice president of engineering, said. “By securing a larger office space, we are demonstrating our long-term commitment to serving the surrounding regions, which we believe will continue to see significant investment and development in the coming years.”

In June, Phillips 66 selected S & B to perform engineering, procurement, and construction for two natural gas liquids (NGL) fractionation plants in Old Ocean, Texas.

When completed, the plants will have a 300,000 NGL barrels per day capacity.

The contact is the 12th fractionation plant awarded to S & B in the last five years, S & B CEO James Brookshire, said.

S & B currently has more than 4,500 employees nationwide.
