Hot Frog purchases Twisted Sportswear

Hot Frog Print Media, a Mechanicsburg communications, marketing, and printing firm, recently purchased custom branded apparel company Twisted Sportswear for an undisclosed amount.

The companies sell similar products but have a different customer base.

“Our acquisition of Twisted Sportswear complements our overall offering so we can now provide a much broader range of capabilities to our customers and also provide additional products and services to the current customers of Twisted Sportswear,” Hot Frog Print Media CEO James Geedy said. ‘Given the tremendous synergies between our two companies, this acquisition is a ‘win-win-win’ for all parties.”

Twisted Sportswear will move from its Camp Hill headquarters to Mechanicsburg where it will bring Hot Frog’s staff to 34 employees.

Twisted Sportswear President Nissanne Morrison will become part of the Hot Frog Sales Team while Twisted Sportswear’s four employees will become part of the expanded operations.

Morrison said she was looking forward to her new role, focusing on introducing products and services to customers.

Central Penn Business Journal named Hot Frog Print Media one of the area’s Top 50 Fastest Growing Companies. The company made two acquisitions and had revenue totaling $2.1 million in 2017. This year, revenue is expected to reach approximately $3 million, Geedy said.
