The Hershey Co. recently appointed Amanda Almond as international president effective Oct. 12. She will be based in the company’s U.K. office.
Almond has more than 30 years of consumer goods and retail experience. She is known for accelerating growth, bringing teams together and building strong performance cultures that deliver consistent, profitable results, the company said.
Almond comes to Hershey from Vinarchy, a global wine company, where she served as regional managing director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, a region spanning 57 markets. She also spent 12 years at Bacardi in senior regional leadership roles.
Almond succeeds Rohit Grover who joined the company in 1999 and spent eight years as president, international.
