Michigan-based Galco Industrial Electronics, a distributor and service provider of industrial automation products, recently purchased Harrisburg-based Ad-Tech CCI, a regional distributor of industrial controls, automation components and identification products.
The purchase will strengthen Galco’s presence in the Mid-Atlantic region and will enable both companies to offer customers a larger selection of automation, labeling and identification solutions. Customers also will receive greater flexibility, scalability and support.
The combined company hopes to position itself as a leading source of industrial automation and control products, power and control distribution solutions, and specialized identification products and services.

Ad-Tech will continue to operate in Harrisburg as Ad-Tech.
