Hershey names Heather Hoytink as president of U.S. business

Hershey-based snacks company The Hershey Co. recently announced Heather Hoytink has been named president of the company’s U.S. business, effective July 8.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Heather to Hershey,” Kirk Tanner, Hershey president and CEO, said. “She’s an outstanding people leader with deep customer relationships, the operating discipline to execute at scale and a track record of growth that will accelerate our U.S. business. Her experience leading some of the largest, most complex customer and commercial organizations in the industry makes her exceptionally well-suited to lead our team into the next generation of growth.”

Hoytink will be responsible for Hershey’s U.S. commercial business. Responsibilities include advancing a ONE Hershey commercial model, leading execution of the company’s full snacking portfolio and driving growth across away-from-home, omnichannel, digital and other emerging channels.

Hoytink has more than 20 years of sales, operations and commercial leadership experience. She joins Hershey from PepsiCo where she was U.S. Away From Home Beverages senior vice president and chief commercial officer. PepsiCo Away from Home is a global foodservice partner. She also served as South Division president.
