DESOTEC appoints Sebastine Ujereh Jr. as U.S. president

Belgium-based DESOTEC, a circular mobile filtration solutions company, recently appointed Sebastine Ujereh Jr. as DESOTEC U.S. president, effective March 30.

“The U.S. is a key growth market for DESOTEC, driven by increasing regulatory pressure and a strong investment climate where our solutions are seeing strong adoption in the industrial market,” Mark Thys, DESOTEC global CEO, said. “To capture that opportunity, we are strengthening our leadership with individuals who combine strategic vision with proven execution capabilities. Sebastine brings exactly that. His track record, combined with his engaging leadership style, makes him the right leader to accelerate our growth and further expand our presence in the U.S.”

Ujereh comes to the company from Lion Industrial Resources, an environmental services company, where he served as CEO. He worked for nearly a decade at FlexSteel Pipeline Technologies where he held multiple roles including global Services Division manager and began his career at Bain & Company where he held several operational leadership roles.

As DESOTEC U.S. president, Ujereh will lead the company’s U.S. operations and work to expand its market footprint.

DESOTEC is in a growth phase in the United States. It has successfully become a fast-growing and established business with operations in several key industrial areas, including Pennsylvania, Arizona, California and Texas.
