Norristown-based Asylon, a robotic security services company, recently announced it has collaborated with California-based NVIDIA, a computer hardware company, to develop artificial intelligence-powered analytics for autonomous robotic security systems.
The companies will introduce DroneIQ Overwatch, an AI-driven capability in Asylon’s DroneIQ platform, this week at ISC West, a security industry trade show. in Las Vegas. The technology, which is expected to debut to the public later this year, uses NVIDIA accelerated computing and AI frameworks.
DroneIQ centrally manages Asylon’s robotic security systems and is supported by the Robotic Security Operations Center. DroneIQ Overwatch uses an intelligent AI layer that continuously analyzes live robotic video streams and operational data, automatically finding anomalies and defining security events for human review. The technology is designed to augment human operators.
“The future of security is not humans versus AI — it’s humans augmented by robots and AI,” Damon Henry, Asylon CEO, said. “DroneIQ Overwatch represents our next step toward Physical AI, where intelligent machines operate in the real world while keeping a human in the loop for judgment and oversight in emergency scenarios. These new advancements continue to advance our path of providing world class solutions and security services to our customers with robotics.”
DroneIQ Overwatch is designed for a world where humans, robots, and AI operate seamlessly in live environments.
