Ben Franklin invests $68,750 in manufacturing in third quarter

From October to December of fiscal year 2026, Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Northeastern Pennsylvania approved $2.1 million in investments, including $68,750 in established manufacturers.

Investments made during the third quarter will support three established manufacturers and 11 early-stage companies and will foster innovative product development, work force expansion, and operational growth across the region.

The established manufacturers were required to incorporate student enrichment work with a college or university partner. They are:

American Millwork and Cabinetry of Lehigh County manufactures and installs custom architectural millwork, cabinetry, and related casework. They provide tailored build-outs and finish solutions that support commercial and institutional environments.

D.T. Davis Enterprises, also known as HoverTech International from Northampton County
develops safe patient handling and mobility solutions with the intention of improving patients’ comfort and outcomes while reducing caregiver strain and injury risk. Their systems include air-assisted transfer and lift products used in healthcare settings.

Remmey The Pallet Company from Snyder County designs and manufactures pallets using multiple materials. It also provides pallet services such as recycling, reconditioning, and buyback programs. The company supports supply chains by helping customers reduce pallet waste and manage inventory more efficiently.
