Pittsburgh-based Tecum Equity Alpha Management, a private investment firm, and Butler-based the Armstrong Group of Companies, a group of companies in a variety of industries, recently announced the formation of SupplyCo.

SupplyCo is a partnership between New Castle-based Huston Group, an industrial supply distributor, and Eighty-Four-based Gallaway Safety & Supply, a safety supplies and equipment distributor. It will provide technical sales support and engineering solutions for operationally essential products used for industrial, manufacturing and field service applications. In early 2026, SupplyCo will debut a new name and brand.

Huston Group and Eighty-Four-based Gallaway Safety & Supply both bring unique product expertise that will complement the platform’s overall goal. Both company’s leadership and employees will move to SupplyCo.

“Through our experience operating and investing in manufacturing businesses, we understand the importance of these essential products to our customers’ operations,” Stephen Gurgovits, Tecum managing partner, said. “In SupplyCo, we see an opportunity to establish a platform to provide a broader depth of products while maintaining leading technical knowledge and customer support. We are actively supporting the company’s next phase of growth by expanding our product offerings, investing in additional inventory management solutions, hiring additional technical sales and application engineer leaders, and evaluating strategic acquisitions.”
