Utz Brands, a branded salty snacks manufacturer, recently announced a multi-phase project that will upgrade facilities at its Hanover headquarters’ campus.

“Utz is proud to have called Hanover headquarters for over 100 years, and we’re pleased to share that the work that began with the opening of the Rice Distribution Center last year was only the beginning of our investments here in Hanover,” Howard Friedman, Utz Brands CEO, said. “This work underscores our commitment to building on our legacy in Hanover while preparing for our future. We are excited to invest in more efficient spaces that will support our associates and the community for many years to come.”

Construction will begin next year to transform headquarters into the Utz Employee Hub. Employees working at the Hanover campus will be moved to the hub where they will work in a collaborative and integrated workspace.

The Fitness Center and DSD warehouse will moved while a modern Utz Community Center will be built on the site of Utz’s Carlisle Street Plant 1.

The company will put the buildings at 1040 High Street and 350 Kindig Lane up for sale.

Utz Brands has multiple manufacturing facilities throughout the United States. The company’s products are distributed nationally through grocery, mass merchandisers, club, convenience, drug, and other channels.
