Pittsburgh-based Armada Sunset Holdings recently announced that next year it will integrate Armada Supply Chain Solutions, Sunset Transportation and ATEC Logistics under the Armada brand.

Consolidation will streamline operations, clarify the company’s market presence, and will help transform the company into a unified supply chain and logistics leader. It also represents the close collaboration with the leadership of Sunset and ATEC.

Effective Jan. 1, Chris O’Brien, Armada Sunset Holdings president, will become Armada CEO.

O’Brien has more more than 30 years of experience in global logistics. He joined Armada Sunset Holdings earlier this year and has been focused on aligning operations and establishing a foundation for long-term growth. He previously led commercial strategy and scaled high-performing teams at C.H. Robinson.

“I’m proud to lead the best team in the industry,” O’Brien said. “We have a competitive advantage with service offerings across warehousing, inventory optimization, supply chain engineering, advanced supply chain visibility technology, international, and freight management. Bringing those services closer together will deliver even more value for our current and future customers and employees.”

Joe Dominijanni, Armada Supply Chain Solutions CEO, will become the board of directors vice chairman while John Burke will continue serving as board chairman.
