Canonsburg-based Ansys, an engineering solutions company, recently signed an agreement with NVIDIA to license, sell, and support Omniverse technology embedded in Ansys simulation solutions.
Ansys will provide customers access to Omniverse technologies and libraries. The company’s
technology will integrate seamlessly with Omniverse technologies to enable smooth workflows across diverse simulation applications.
The agreement allows engineers to analyze complex datasets more intuitively. Integration also provides engineers with high-fidelity outputs to make it easier to develop, train, test, and validate autonomous systems.
“Product development processes are only getting more complex, so modern teams need a virtual environment that allows them to simulate, visualize, iterate, and collaborate,” Walt Hearn, Synopsys senior vice president of worldwide sales and customer excellence, said. “By integrating advanced Omniverse technologies and libraries, our customers drive innovation in simulation-led workflows, empowering teams to achieve greater efficiency, performance, and scalability.”
Synopsys, a company enabling customers to rapidly innovate artificial intelligence-powered products, owns Ansys.
PyAnsys, a family of Python packages, enables users to customize and automate simulations within their own applications built on NVIDIA Omniverse.
Synopsys partners with customers in a wide range of industries to maximize research and development capability and productivity with the goal of powering innovation that ignites ingenuity.
