
Minnesota-based Ecolab Life Sciences, a water, hygiene and infection prevention solutions and services provider, recently opened a U.S. Bioprocessing Applications Laboratory in King of Prussia.
“Our new Bioprocessing Applications Lab marks a significant milestone in our ability to be a global technical partner to our customers around the world,” Dr. Jennifer Sorrells, Ecolab Life Sciences vice president of research and development, said. “This facility demonstrates our commitment to delivering best-in-class bioprocessing solutions by pairing Ecolab’s innovative resin toolbox with deep domain expertise to optimize the purification process. We are dedicated to empowering our customers to accelerate the delivery of life-saving therapies to market.”
The lab will support the company’s biopharmaceutical customers and contract manufacturers and will provide applications and process development for the purification of biotherapeutic molecules. Large biopharma companies will be able to use the lab throughout the entire development cycle. Customers can initiate studies, and the lab will deliver results in weeks.
