Colorado-based Frontline Road Safety, a pavement marking services provider, recently purchased Bethel Park-based PLP Company, a pavement marking installation company, for an undisclosed amount.
The purchase enhances Frontline’s presence in nearby states such as Ohio and Michigan, improves its ability to serve customers in the Northeast, and enables potential collaboration on large regional projects.
“For nearly 60 years, PLP has provided specialized pavement marking and removal services to the Greater Pittsburgh community,” Mitch Williams, Frontline CEO, said. “We look forward to working with the Gaudelli family and the rest of PLP’s leadership to further develop and enhance their strong position in the region.”
PLP specializes in epoxy, grooved-in markings, polyurea, preformed thermoplastic, thermoplastic, waterborne paint, wet reflective tape, and other pavement markings. It also
removes pavement markings using water blasting or grinding techniques.
“For three generations, we have remained competitive and solidified our reputation in the pavement marking industry by focusing on quality and safety, and by continuously investing in our stellar team and state-of-the-art fleet and equipment,” Paul, Justin & Jared Gaudelli, PLP Company managing partners, said. “We are thrilled to join Frontline and play a meaningful role in its continued growth across Pennsylvania and the rest of the Northeast.”
