
Conshohocken-based Quaker Houghton, an industrial process fluids company, recently completed its purchase of Japan-based Dipsol Chemicals Co., a supplier of surface treatment and plating solutions and services primarily for automotive and other industrial applications, for approximately $153 million.
In addition, Quaker Houghton also announced it is purchasing U.K.-based Natech Ltd., a manufacturer of surface treatment chemicals for approximately $5.2 million.

Dipsol employs approximately 450 people worldwide.
Natech manufactures water-based cleaners, metal pre-treatment products, paint strippers and other products.
Quaker Houghton employs approximately 4,400 people including chemists, engineers and industry experts.
