Pittsburgh-based PNC Bank recently announced Mike Anselmo, longtime market leader for PNC’s Corporate Bank in Western and Central Pennsylvania, will retire effective July 1.

Anselmo spent the majority of his 40-year career at PNC. He began as a business credit relationship manager and was promoted to his current role in 2008.

C.J. Pascarella will succeed him. In his new role, he will oversee a team serving public and private companies in the region with annual revenues greater than $50 million.

“Mike has been a steadfast leader and trusted advisor to clients, delivering consistent results over the course of his career,” Lou Cestello, PNC head of regional presidents and regional president of Pittsburgh, said. “Thanks to Mike’s visionary leadership, we have a solid bench of talent in our corporate banking organization, including C.J., and I have full confidence the team won’t miss a beat during this planned management transition.”

Pascarella has more than two decades of banking experience including 16 years at PNC. He is the current banking sales leader on Anselmo’s team where he serves local companies with revenues ranging from $50 million to more than $3 billion. Prior to joining PNC, Pascarella worked at Deloitte and Grant Thornton.
