
JamesDruryPartners, a company offering board advisory services to firms, recently ranked Pittsburgh-based PPG’s board of directors among the top 10 nationwide. The rankings were based on a study of the boards of directors of more than 650 American corporations.

In the ninth annual The Weight of America’s Boards study, PPG was recognized for its leadership role with companies, business accomplishments, and the relative value of its experience.
The report examines the governance capacity of the largest U.S. corporations as measured by revenue and market capitalization. It assumes that the collective quality of board directors’ business acumen is the primary measurable factor indicating a board’s capacity to govern well.
PPG board of director’s has appeared on the list eight times since JamesDruryPartners began conducting the study in 2011.
JamesDruryPartners works with corporations that range in revenue size from $1 billion to $385 billion.
PPG operates in more than 70 countries and reported net sales of $15.8 billion in 2024.
